Paisa Paisa

Our mission is to give a new dimension to individual sports sponsorship, that is open to all, help make dreams and ambitions come a reality and champion the sportsmen and women of tomorrow. We work for the betterment of the athletes right from the nascent stages of their career. Athlete sponsorship is never easy in the best of times and we have to make it possible.

Dismal condition of Indian football

The I-League doesn’t give us anything in return. The visibility factor is almost nil. Hardly anybody comes to watch the matches. The AIFF bosses are simply not interested in improving things,

The golden rule of making a venture a success is proper marketing. Unfortunately, the marketing of Indian football hasn’t been up to that mark.

AIFF’s inability to professionalise the league set-up in the country is ridiculed by many. And to make it worse, the AIFF does little to maintain the available infrastructure. India coach Bob Houghton had recently said, “In my stint here as coach, the most frequently asked question was, ‘when will India play in the World Cup?’ I don’t know when India will play in the World Cup. But I can guarantee you that, given the current infrastructure in the country, India will never make it to the World Cup.” and with Indian footballers now getting opportunities on foreign soil, there are glimmerings of hope, however dim. While Sunil Chhetri is settling down at the US’s Major League Soccer team Kansas City Wizards, India goalkeeper Subrata Pal has a trial fixed with Vancouver Whitecaps, and defender Gouramangi Singh is set to try his luck with Australia’s Melbourne Hearts. All this shows that our players have the potential to compete at the international level. So we all know where the work needs to be done. We need proper finance and right people doing the right job.

Healthy Life

People today are becoming increasingly aware that a proper diet  is the foundation of good health. If we don't have a regular diet of wholesome food and the essential trace minerals which it provides, we don't have the fuel or the formula to perform at our best. We cut corners with our health, we try to run on empty and to tell ourselves that it's OK, but all the while our bodies know something different. We keep taking from ourselves, but what are we giving back? What does our diet consist of?

Proper diet does not always mean a fad or crash diet. It means eating healthy and cutting out the things that are bad for you. When combined with exercise this will help you maintain the proper weight. It is all about getting the proper nutrition in the proper portions and cutting out the foods that are bad or empty calories. You want to eat more foods that are good for you and foods that will cut out the cravings to eat more.

When eating habits are changed to a healthier pattern blood pressure and cholesterol levels are usually lowered thereby helping to reduce the risk of obesity related diseases. When proper exercise is attained, you will have more energy, feel better about yourself, and also be improving weight related health issues.

Boxing Fitness

There are many, many different types of things that people can do to be fit. One thing that you do not hear too often when looking for great fitness workouts is boxing fitness. It is very unique and is also supposed to be very great for your body and for burning fat.
Boxing for fitness is just a way to get fit. It does not involve hurting other people or being brutally hurt yourself. Boxing for fitness seems to have many great benefits. For example, if you want to lose a lot of weight, it has been said that a boxing workout burns twelve hundred calories an hour.

If that is true, that is a whole lot of calories to burn and it would also be a lot of fat to lose. Boxing for fitness will strengthen your heart and lungs. It will also increase your metabolism. With a great metabolism your body will digest food quickly and will burn calories when you are not even working out.

That is definitely a bonus. You will have increased speed, increased strength, better balance and coordination, and you will have a lot better mental strength. Besides all of these physical benefits you will learn great self-defense.

Hopeless Indian Men's Cricket Team

The corrupt administrators should be removed from the BCCI selection board and the honest ones with the likes of Kapil Dev should be given a chance. WIth such a bad selection of players how can the team play to its potential. Gary Kirsten the fitness coach also has given his view that the team is not at all fit and Mr. Dhoni is blaming the post IPL parties for their dismal performance at the T20 world cup.
In 2009 if you would remember, the team fell for all the short pitched deliveries bowled to them, the story remained the same this season also...there was no improvement and to add to the horror the rival teams know this weakness very well, now what should Dhoni do...? make Raina the captian for the zimbabwe tour and keep away from all the controversies..smart i must say!!!

Sushil Kumar,our true hero

The IOS team Congratulates him for this wonderfull feat.

Anand checkmate

I am very much disappointed to see this dismal condition of chess in India, the grandmaster belongs to India, then also it doesnt bring in crowd. I feel that the game looks very dull to watch and there is very little way of associating yourself with this game.people generally tend to watch and experience games/sports which provide them with any kind of excitement, sports has become more of an entertainment platform for the viewers and serves a common interest where friends/family can sit down and watch some interesting guys running around in the field/court,using less of their minds and more of their feet...:P , Mr. Anand deserves all the attention for such a consistent performance.
chkmate..

Regards,
Jaydeep Ray

Butterflies on the first day at IOS,Delhi

India 12th may 2010

As one of the newest members of our team I remember very well my first day in the office. Actually, I will never forget it. “Here is your office and your desk and submit your passing certificate and marksheet photcopies by tmw" said the HR(Geetika) , as i walked up nervously to my desk, there i was introduced to Nidhi(manager,PR & Media) and she took a brief introduction of mine, pls note: it felt like those ragging days in college when freshers are asked to introduce themselves by n no.of seniors and evytym they see you with an eye of suspicion. although the eye ws missing in my case.:P

put a password on your computer and login with ur id was the next thing that i heard, but the password would not get accepted as i didnt knew about the fact that first letter has to be in caps, i was brought to rescue by Sahil(BD,head) when he himself came upto my desk and did the whole procedure himself. and then i started.....When I finally was able to enter into my computer I had already some mails in my mailbox which mainly talked about my welcome into IOS... We are a small strength of highly entusiatic people who would die and kill people for sports...and sitting around with the likes of me is really a very nice feeling.., but in this first day everything was difficult. To remember 10 new people at once is complicated enough... now i know that Aneek(the research guy) is to my left and Aatir sits left to Aneek,clean...

I was given some work for a start and was briefd about the various policies which are followed in IOS. My team did support me in a lot of ways...and made it comfortable for me to take on this 1st job with a kick.. IOS has a very nice working environment and its only a matter of days that i would be able to settle in very nicely... thank you.
